Duodenal Switch

In this procedure, the stomach resection is performed along the greater curvature , retaining the lesser curvature , the pylorus ( output stomach ) and the first portion of the duodenum ( the beginning of the small intestine) . Similar to the gastric sleeve surgery . Then , the deviation of the small intestine is performed as described above.
